Looking forward to going to RedMonk’s Monktoberfest next week. 150 or so top technologists like Cloudera’s Mike Olson, Bit.ly’s Matt LeMay and Zendesk’s Zack Urlocker to explore how technology is impacting the way we socialize and how the way we socialize is influencing the way we build and use technology.
What does a developers conference have to do with “great software marketing”?
1) Developers are the ones that build great software, and great software is great marketing (and great software is the foundation of great software companies).
2) The focus of the conference is to explore how social trends can change the way we build and use technology, and how technology in turn can change the way we socialize. That’s about as core as you can get to “the market”.
